                                    Driver Education                                     

 Driver education programs are given at high schools. Both public and private High schools.

  These programs are given so that a student can get a full license at 17 years of age.

Without this program a student must wait till they are 18 yrs old to get a full license.

 North Shore Auto School can help someone enroll in a driver education program that is given on Sunday.

One school is in Plainview, one school is in Uniondale.

These programs require 30 hours of in classroom teaching, and 6 hours of in car instruction.

There are fall sessions starting in September and Spring sessions starting in February.

They normally last 16 weeks. Three hours each Sunday. There are some summer programs also.

Apply early. Summer programs are done three days a week and finish in 5-6 weeks.
